Celebrity 'giant' James Earl Jones received tributes George Lucas, the man of Star Wars, has led the tributes after "incredible actor" James Earl Jones, who played Darth Vader, passed away at the age of 93. In a statement, Lucas referred to Jones as "a most unique voice both in art and spirit". "For nearly half a century he was Darth Vader, but the secret to it all is he was a beautiful human being," the filmmaker added. "He gave depth, sincerity and meaning to all his roles, amongst the most important being a devoted husband to the late Ceci and dad to Flynn. "Fans and pals alike will miss James a lot.  < /a> "RIP, dad." In addition to providing the distinctively deep voice of Darth Vader in Star Wars, Jones acted in many other films, including Field of Dreams, Coming to America, Conan the Barbarian, and The Lion King. The actor who portrayed Darth Vader's son Luke Skywalker posted the words "RIP Dad...
